چکیده
This research aimed at assessment of the levels, speciation, risk indices and seasonal variation heavy metals (Cd Cu) in water sediments from Hunki Ox-bow Lake Awe L.G.A Nasarawa State, using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), during dry wet seasons. The mean concentration Cd samples both seasons was higher than that Cu, but Cu on whole (raw) sediment samples. baseline levels (mg/L) were as follows: (0.354) (0.014), which revealed level WHO Guidelines for Drinking Water Quality. (mg/kg) (7.149) (8.363) showed lower Interim Sediment Quality – High (Cd: 10 Cu: 270 mg/kg). 15 صفحه اولSpatial Distribution and Seasonal Variation of Heavy Metals in Water and Sediments of Taihu Lake
Heavy metal distribution in aquatic ecosystems can be influenced by a variety of factors. In this study, the spatial distribution and seasonal variation of heavy metals (Cd, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cr, and Pb) in lake water and sediments of different lake zones of a large, shallow, eutrophic freshwater lake, Taihu Lake, were investigated. Metal concentrations in the river water, bloom assemblages, and macr...

15 صفحه اولAssessment of levels and health risk of heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Cr, and Cu) in commercial hen’s eggs from the city of Hamedan
Increasing consumption of chicken products in Iran makes it very important to analyze their residual heavy metal contents; therefore, the present study has been conducted to determine Pb, Cd, Cr, and Cu in commercial hen eggs, marketed in the city of Hamedan in 2016. In this descriptive study, a sum of 27 samples of hen eggs has been collected from the Hamedan City's market. After preparation a...
